About Us

The 1st Wyre Forest Sea Scout Cub and Beaver Group has been providing inspiring & challenging age-appropriate Scouting based activities since it was formed in 1946.

Over the years it has evolved as needed to meet the needs of the time. Beaver Scouts and girls in Scouting have nothing more than made our group an even greater force in the local Scouting world. We offer Scouting to all from 6 to 100! Our leader team across the three sections believe in living the dream especially outdoors.

Our programmes through the late Spring, Summer and into the Autumn are always centred around our local camp site Rhydd Covert where the young people can run, explore and get dirty & smelly!

Meeting times are throughout term times with each section meeting on a different night.

All three sections Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts & Scouts are run by their own qualified leadership teams providing many hours of challenging experiences & fun for the large numbers of young people who attend each section.

We alone wear blue uniform shirts and white neckers. We stand out not only in our uniforms but in the quality of Scouting we provide.
